Dust explosions arise when fine particles accumulate and, upon ignition, lead to rapid combustion within process equipment and pose a significant risks of jeopardising worker safety, damage to plant and disruption of operations.
Similarly, VOC leaks present formidable threats; solvents or reagents can be flammable or toxic and improper handling, or equipment failure such as blocked or leaking safety valves can lead to potentially catastrophic problems, including potential over pressurised systems, fire hazards or health risks for workers. Future Biogas Ltd
In a UK first, Future Biogas is pioneering unsubsidised green gas and BECCS with “Project Carbon Harvest”. Decarbonising farming, supporting food production, building soil carbon, delivering biomethane and sequestering CO2.
We use (crops/biomass) grown in a sustainable rotation to produce biomethane, injected into the grid as a substitute for natural gas. When sleeved to corporate partners, full ownership and additionality can be claimed for the gas to reduce Scope 1 emissions.
Future Biogas' plants are also on-track to become the first to capture bio-CO2 from biogas for permanent geological storage. This process removes CO2 from the atmosphere, reversing GHG emissions.
